My full name is Felipe Eduardo Mac-Auliffe Prieto. Single, 32 years old (November 24th 1971), living in La Serena, IV region, Chile.

As you can conclude looking at my home page, I'm an amateur astronomer. In fact, I have been working in Astronomy during the last ten years, first as a real amateur astronomer in amateur observatories and now, still as an amateur, but in really big and professional observatories. In 1993, I was Staff Observer at the Southern Columbia Millimeter Telescope SCMT, at the Cerro Tololo Interamerican Observatory. Then, I was resident astronomer for the University of Toronto Southern Observatory UTSO, at Las Campanas Observatory. Nowadays, I'm working at the biggest radiotelescope in the southern hemisphere: The Swedish ESO Submillimetre Telescope SEST.

Now, let's go to my music preferences. As you have seen in my home page, I have a sort of addiction to the Pink Floyd music. In fact, Pink Floyd represents 90% of my music. Also, I really like the music of the best Chilean musician: Joakin Bello. His style is close to the New Age music. Other music: Queen, Led Zeppelin, Iron Maiden, Toto, Los Jaivas, Phil Collins, Vangelis & Jarre, blues.

I play guitar ... Well, not as I would like (i.e. David Gilmour) but, in just few words, I love guitar !!!.

Sports: Tennis.
