Welcome to my Astronomical
related Pictures web page. Here is the final product of one of my best
ways to spend my time: The photography. By
surfing this page, you'll get the chance to visit my complete photographic
survey that covers all the three big observatories that operates in the
North of Chile:
European Southern Observatory (ESO), Cerro Tololo Interamerican Observatory
(CTIO) and Las Campanas Observatory (LCO). By
surfing this web site, you will not only see night time shots. The idea
of this page is to give you the chance to virtually watch the most important
astronomical observatories as they really are, ranging from perfect clear
skies to fantastic snow and sunsets landscapes. For taking this pictures
I have used a Canon reflex camera and a set of lenses ranging from 28mm
up to 400mm. For most of the pictures the film was the Fuji Super HGII
400 ASA. For deep sky photography, a Celestron C11 telescope was used,
located at La Silla observatory with camera adapters. Felipe
