SEST Computers Facilities

Control Computers.

The observer controls the SEST telescope and its associated instrumentation from HP workstation. The Telescope is controlled by a 68000 micro running OS9, the instruments are controlled by local micros, the spectrometers are currently controlled by a pentium class PC running linux. The observer is provided with an additional xterminal next to the control workstation for data reduction.
